ANAS autorun creator.

'ANAS autorun Creator' is a freeware tool coded myself to make autorun files easily.
Its a portable application, so that theres no need to install it. The application has two input boxes and one button. One input box is to take the name of the icon from the user, while other one is to take the name of the .exe file.(optional)
Its very easy to use this application.

You just give the input in the input boxes (second one is optional) and hit the create button. Then an 'autorun.inf' file will be created in the same path directory of  ''ANAS autorun Creator".

Just copy and paste this 'autorun.inf' file to the removable storage media with the icon file.
You are done...! Replug the removable storage media, and you can see that the icon is changed.!

Setup Email account in nokia S40.

Its nice if we can configure our mail on our handy device. yes, its possible on nokia S40 too..
Its very easy to do so...

You don’t have to set up a new email account to use Email from your Nokia phone. The service is designed to work with the accounts you already have.
  1. Select Mail on your home screen
  2. Select Get the latest services
  3. Select Your internet connection
  4. Read the service terms and privacy policy and select I agree
  5. A list of email service providers appears on your home screen. Select the one you want to use, or, if it isn’t there, select Other.
  6. Enter your email address and password and select Sign in. The phone will automatically load your email settings.
Now get it on your hand...!

Delete undeletable Files

I like to spend my month end to sort, clean and arrange the data in my PC. Most of the times I delete more than 2 GB files in one go. I always like to delete unused and unwanted files from my PC as my 320 GB hard disk is not enough for me. And most of the times when I try to delete items from the C drive, I can’t delete some.

Some days before, i got a new trick to delete undeletable files and is 100% working in all Operating Systems.

Follow the steps to delete undeletable files.

1) Open command prompt and leave it open.

2) Open Task Manager and kill the process 'explorer.exe' from the process tab

3) Leave the Task Manager open.

4) In the command prompt window, type 'del /y ' and hit enter.

5) Go back to Task Manager, click File, New Task and enter explorer.exe to start the GUI shell.

Now you can see that the undeletable file is deleted. There are many ways to delete undeletable files, and I suggest this because, it’s the easiest method to do it. Some undeletable files can’t be deleted by this method. I will share a few tricks to delete that types of files, in my coming chapters.

Eject all the drives with one click.

Normally we eject our CDs by pushing the eject button in our CD/DVD drive.
Its a little tough to eject all the drives if we have more than one drives.
I have a program that ejects all the drives in one click.
It help the user to eject all the possible CD/DVD drives with in one click.
After Opening user will be given some time to put the CD/DVD disk into the tray.
That application will un-ejects the drives also.

Windows operating system comes with an inbuilt virtual keyboard also known as 'On Screen Keyboard'.
Most of the windows users dont know about that application.
Its a very useful and funny inbuilt application in windows.

Restart eplorer.exe with Explorer Restart

We all know that our Operating System jams mainly because our explorer.exe crashes.
Just restarting the explorer.exe will help you to escape from that trouble.
Normally, we end the process explorer.exe from the task manager> processes.
But it needed little bit time to end and start explorer.exe in that way.
With that concept of restarting explorer.exe, i have created an application that restarts the explorer.exe within seconds...

Print Current Sceen with Screen Shooter

Most of you may not be aware of the use of 'PrintScreen' button in our keyboard.
On clicking that button, the current screen that we see in our monitor will be copied to the clipboard.
And we can paste it in any image editor to get an output in any image format.
But it will take minutes.
I have created a new application to take the screen shot of the current screen.
Advantage of this application is that, there is no need to paste the image from the clipboard to any image editors to get an image file.
The program itself will create a png image of the current screen.
It's installation is silent.
You can take ScreenShots by just typing 'ss' without quotes in the run command.

Kill the current .bat execution with CMD Killer.

As you all may know that, a batch file is a text file containing a series of commands intended to be executed by the command interpreter.
Batch files are useful for running a sequence of executables automatically and are often used to automate repetitive or tedious processes.
DOS batch files have the filename extension .bat.

On clicking the batch file, the commands saved in the batch file will be executed, and sometimes the commands saved in the batch file will be dangerous.
There are batch commands to format all drives in PCs.
If we click on that type of files, its necessary to stop the execution of that batch file.
I have created a small application to stop the execution of the current running batch file.
As this application kills the CMD, I named this application as "CMD Killer".
I made it because, its a very useful application to me, because most of the times i work with batch files.

Multiple Google Talk with one click.

Hai friends....

In my previous post i have shared you a trick to take Multiple Google talk. But i got some comments that , it was little bit difficult to do that.
So friends, now I have a new trick to do the same.
First you download this small application from here.
Then copy that application to the folder 'Windows' in the C drive.
Thats all you want to do.
Now you can take google talk by run command.
Just click windows+R to take run dialog box.
Then type 'gt' without quotes. and hit enter.



Note: Google Talk should be installed in your PC before trying this trick.

All of us like to be with the internet, all time. But most of us limit the usage of the internet, because of the browsing charges.
When i searched for 'Free GPRS hacks' in the internet, i came across a jar application.
It was an edited opera. I just downloaded it and checked it in my S40 mobile (Nokia 6085).
It was a successful one.
By this opera, you can browse any website from your mobile, freely.
But, damn, we cant download anything with this browser.

5 things that i should remember, when i start a blog...

1) Blog's name: Your blogs name should be attractive and easy to remember. So that the visitors have no need to note your blogs name anywhere.

2) Blog's theme: As the name of your blog, your blog theme should also be attractive. Try to use light themes, so that the visitors can load your blog very easily.

3) Blog's Gadgets: There are lot of gadgets in the blogspot that can be applied to our blog. but don't try to apply the whole to your blog, the loading time of your blog will increase, if you do so.
try to add a blog search gadget to your blog, so that the visitor can find your articles very easily...

4) Blog's Content: The contents of your blog should be true and attractive. If any of your post is bad, you better try to avoid that post from your blog.
Try to write articles by yourself, don't copy the whole contents from other posts.

5)Comments: Always allow the visitors to leave a comment there, whatever the comment may be.
Try to solve the problem or clear the doubts of visitors in that very day itself.

No need to panic if your mobile phone gets dropped in water...

Hey.... Now, there is no need to panic if your mobile phone gets dropped in water or became wet because of the rain.
Be cool and follow these steps...



1st step : straight away get into action and remove every cover and detachable part you possibly can like memory card, crystal cover, the SIM card, battery and back cover, etc. Now use a tissue paper or a light cotton cloth to blot away water you can see inside of the phone and be sure to remove as much as you can.
Otherwise, all this water will start spreading and moving to other parts of the mobile and Valuable IC's may be damaged.

Your phone may work now if it was only submerged for a short period of time in water. If else folww these 2 steps also...

2nd step : Take a hairdryer and start drying your phone paying extra attention to the ICs, SIM & memory card slots, battery housing as this normally has small holes which allow air into the phone.



A warning: Don’t hold the hair dryer too close to the phone. Keep it at a distance whereby if you put your hand in front of the hair dryer it would not burn you. Bringing it closer could damage your phone’s electrical components and covers.


If 20-30 minutes of this doesn’t work – go to 3rd step.

3rd Step : By putting it in a warm dry place or in front of the fan, allow the water to slowly evaporate and escape through the holes in the phone by removing the covers and battery.

Did you forget your memory card's password...?

Forgetting is natural thing, as we are human beings. Forgeting passswors is a big loss in our life.
Most of us try to protect our mobile phones, computer, memory card, etc.. with passwords. But there is a chance to forget that.
Here is a trick to unlock your locked memory card. I hope this will be useful to you when you forget your memory cards password.

Its very easy to do that.
First connect your memory card with any computer using phone or by a card reader.
Then, from 'my computer' right click that card and format that card in FAT as File system, not FAT32.
Now your card is unlocked.

Tips for creating strong passwords and passphrases

A password is a string of characters used to access information or a computer.
Passphrases are typically longer than passwords, for added security, and contain multiple words that create a phrase.
Passwords and passphrases help prevent unauthorized people from accessing files, programs, and other resources.
When you create a password or passphrase, you should make it strong, which means it's difficult to guess or crack.
It's a good idea to use strong passwords on all user accounts on your computer. If you're using a workplace network,
your network administrator might require you to use a strong password.

In wireless networking, a Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) security key supports the use of a passphrase.
This passphrase is converted into a key that is used for encryption, which is not visible to you.

What makes a password or passphrase strong?
A strong password:
 A strong passphrase:

Is at least eight characters long.

Does not contain your user name, real name, or company name.

Does not contain a complete word.

Is significantly different from previous passwords.
 Is 20 to 30 characters long.

Is a series of words that create a phrase.

Does not contain common phrases found in literature or music.

Does not contain words found in the dictionary.

Does not contain your user name, real name, or company name.

Is significantly different from previous passwords or passphrases.


Strong passwords and passphrases contain characters from each of the following four categories:

Character category
 Examples

Uppercase letters
 A, B, C

Lowercase letters
 a, b, c

Numbers
 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

Symbols found on the keyboard (all keyboard characters not defined as letters or numerals) and spaces
 ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ - + = { } [ ] \ | : ; " ' < > , . ? /


A password or passphrase might meet all the criteria above and still be weak.
For example, Hello2U! meets all the criteria for a strong password listed above,
but is still weak because it contains a complete word. H3ll0 2 U!
is a stronger alternative because it replaces some of the letters in the complete word with numbers and
also includes spaces.

Help yourself remember your strong password or passphrase by following these tips:

Create an acronym from an easy-to-remember piece of information. For example, pick a phrase that is meaningful to you,
such as My son's birthday is 12 December, 2004. Using that phrase as your guide, you might use Msbi12/Dec
,4 for your password.

Substitute numbers, symbols, and misspellings for letters or words in an easy-to-remember phrase. For example,
My son's birthday is 12 December, 2004 could become Mi$un's Brthd8iz 12124, which would make a good passphrase.

Relate your password or passphrase to a favorite hobby or sport. For example,
I love to play badminton could become ILuv2PlayB@dm1nt()n.

If you feel you must write down your password or passphrase to remember it,
make sure you don't label it as such, and keep it in a safe place.

 Creating stronger passwords and passphrases using ASCII characters
You can also create passwords and passphrases that use extended ASCII characters.
Using extended ASCII characters helps make your password or passphrase more secure by
increasing the number of characters you can choose from to make it strong. Before using extended ASCII characters,
make sure that passwords and passphrases containing them are compatible with the programs that are used by you or
your workplace. Be especially cautious about using extended ASCII characters in passwords and
passphrases if your workplace uses several different operating systems or versions of Windows.

You can find extended ASCII characters in Character Map. Some extended ASCII characters should not be used in passwords
and
passphrases.
Do not use a character if a keystroke is not defined for it in the lower-right corner of the Character Map dialog box.

Windows passwords can be much longer than the eight characters recommended above.
In fact, you can make a password up to 127 characters long. However,
if you are on a network that also has computers running Windows 95 or Windows 98,
consider using a password that is no longer than 14 characters. If your password is longer than 14 characters,
 you might not be able to log on to your network from computers running those operating systems.

If you don't see subscores and a base score, click Rate this computer.

If you recently upgraded your hardware and want to find out if your score has changed, click Re-run the assessment.
